We’ve just published our latest work on using machine learning to speed up Core Outcome Set (COS) development.

What the pipeline does:

1. Automatically extracts verbatim outcomes from full-text articles

2. Classifies them into standardised outcome domains (COMET taxonomy)

3. Cuts manual workload by ~80–90%

4. Maintains high accuracy
